Forensic DNA Testing Services
Our standard DNA tests are done using mouth swabs. Mouth swabs are simple to use and yield enough DNA to successfully complete a DNA test. We know however, that sometimes one may not be able to provide samples taken by means of oral swabs and may wish to test other sources of genetic material. Examples of this include:
- A paternity DNA test when the alleged father is unavailable testing. Under these circumstances you might wish to test DNA samples such as hair, a used Kleenex or blood stains known to have belonged to the alleged father. In some
- In an infidelity DNA test you may find some suspicious stains on bed linen or underwear and wish to send these in for testing. We will confirm whether the stains belong to a male or female and whether the DNA matches that of any other sample you send in. Other items such as condoms or hairs can also be used as infidelity DNA samples.
Different DNA samples we test
We test a range of DNA samples that you can view below. Please note that some samples are better than others and the success rate very much depends on the type of sample used, age of samples and how the sample was collected. Where possible, we will recommend you submit those samples that are likely to give better results. In addition, you will be informed on how to collect, store and send the samples.
Please note the price of the discreet sample needs to be added to the cost of the standard DNA test.
